John, our clinical director and specialist MSK physiotherapist, brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to our organisation. His previous experience as an extended scope practitioner within an orthopaedic assessment clinic gives John a great overview of all MSK injuries and conditions.
John has many specialist areas of expertise and in particular spinal pathology, degenerative and neurological conditions to which he has had research papers published on.
Out with this John is physiotherapist of choice to many leading sports people and athletes and is regularly called upon as consultant to national sports bodies and organisations. In addition John also works in conjunction with numerous orthopaedic surgeons as consultant physiotherapist in spinal complaints where referral pathways are implemented through our clinics.
John has continued his development to include osteopathy, chiropractic techniques as well as joint injection therapy which adds to the diversity of treatments offered within our clinics.

Robyn Stewart – Physiotherapist MCSP

Robyn graduated from Glasgow Caledonian University with a BSc (Hons) degree in physiotherapy. Robyn has worked in various NHS departments, gaining experience in neurological rehabilitation, respiratory, orthopaedics, musculoskeletal and paediatric fields. Robyn also has vast experience working with Women’s premier league football teams both on and off the pitch and with other local sports clubs including boxing and horse riding.
Robyn has a particular interest in musculoskeletal and sports injuries; enhancing her skills by completing courses in sports massage and strapping and taping. More specifically, she is interested in core stability, postural care, lower back pain and shoulder injuries.

Kelly McLaughlin – Physiotherapist MCSP

Kelly gained her first degree at Glasgow University in Physiology, Sports Science & Nutrition and then went on to complete her Physiotherapy training at Glasgow Caledonian University, specialising in low back pain, sports injuries, advanced massage and manual physiotherapy. Kelly has vast experience working in football as part of the medical team at a leading Scottish Premier League football club and at National level with the Scottish Woman’s team. This gives her expert knowledge of what is necessary to participate at an exceptionally high sporting standard.
Kelly also has vast experience working out-with the sporting environment, and has developed a strong interest in areas such as chronic back pain, whiplash, common knee injuries, osteoarthritis, orthopaedic and paediatric conditions. Kelly always provides a professional injury management programme which includes postural care, core stabilising and preventative therapy to target the underlying cause of your pain.

Kate Alexander – Physiotherapist MCSP

Kate has a Masters degree in Physiotherapy (Rehabilitation Science) and also a BSc(Hons) in Sports and Exercise Science. She has had various positions through NHS work to experience a multitude of conditions, illnesses and injuries. Kate has a desire to treat everybody as an individual and believes shared goals lead to successful rehabilitation. Kate's main interests are within Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy, more specifically Low Back Pain and Sporting Injuries. Furthermore, Kate enjoys working with Neurological patients and has attended meetings with Chest, Heart and Stroke Scotland and is also a member of the Parkinsons UK charity.
Due to her sporting background and keen interest to return individuals to full fitness, Kate has undertaken further courses to strengthen her musculoskeletal knowledge. These include Kinesiology Taping, Soft Tissue Healing with Tim Watson, Evidence-based Practice in Sporting Injuries and the Assessment and Treatment of the Lower Limb.

Linda Montgomery - Sports and Alternative Therapist

Linda gained her HND in Sports Therapy and continued her studies by gaining her BSc in Sports Studies. Injury treatment is her passion and she uses a multi-disciplined approach combining soft tissue technique, joint mobilisation and rehabilitation exercise to correct any dysfunction whether postural, muscle imbalance or issues relating to every day life. She is keen to explain the cause of injury to each patient to aid their understanding during treatment and prevent future injuries. This is something she has developed through her experience of occupational injury and prevention.
Linda's personal interest in sport has seen her gain experience within various sporting competitions working alongside martial arts clubs, professional football clubs and Britain's strongest man.
Since graduating Linda has continued to develop her skills not only as a sports therapist but also as a complimentary therapist. Through various development courses she has gained vast knowledge of complimentary therapy allowing her to offer a variety of techniques which combine evidence based practises with complimentary therapy enabling an all over benefit to her clients.

Dave Noble – Personal Trainer
Dave is now recognised as one of the best personal trainers in Scotland. His passion for fitness and desire to help others achieve their goals led him to a career in fitness training. Dave honed his skills as a trainer while attending one of the top personal training programmes in the country. He enjoys working with clients of all abilities and goals, ranging from weight loss, strength and conditioning training and speed and agility. Aside from his interest in strength and conditioning. Dave recently completed an advanced training programme to establish himself as Lanarkshire's Kettlebell specialist. Stemming from the personal success he has had with his own training program. Dave strives to give each client a sense of accomplishment, no matter what the individual's goals may be.
